Orange Cinnamon French Toast

Waking up to the pitter patter of rain against my window,
made me in the "mood" for a HOT BREAKFAST! :)

I have been making MY french toast recipe for some time.
And thought is was time to maybe share it with others.

In a shallow dish beat together:
5 Lg. eggs
1 tsp. Fresh Orange zest
1 TBSP. Orange juice
1/4 C. Milk
Cinnamon

*use as much cinnamon as you like.

In another small bowl mix together: 1/4 C. sugar & 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon

Dip each piece of bread in egg mixture and place on hot skillet.
On the "raw" side of bread sprinkle some of the Cinn./Sugar onto it.
Let each side cook for a minute or so.

Serve with powdered sugar & warm maple syrup.

Mmmm, now this is the way to get your Vitamin C. I can't think of a tastier way to enjoy it. I have a sweet treat linky party going on at my blog and I'd like to invite you to stop by and link your french toast up. http://sweet-as-sugar-cookies.blogspot.com/2011/02/sweets-for-saturday-6.html
