Oh the name Say's it all huh?
I mean REALLY?..What else could could there be
that would make you smile like that?!
I have made these a few times and each time I have
made changes in the dough recipe.
At first I thought I would just make my favorite
Choc.-chip Cookie dough recipe.....and they tasted
good, but were a little to "flat" for my taste.
So I tried it a second time with another recipe...
nope, that recipe was way to "cakey" for me.
So 3rd time really was a charm!
Here they are....
Oh My Flipping Heck......makes ya drool huh?
Well they are really quite simple, and so addicting!
Take these to your next cookie Exchange party
and you better take the recipe with 'em.
Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 C. Butter- room temp.
3/4 C. Packed Brown Sugar
1 C. Sugar
2 Lg. Eggland's Best Eggs
1 TBSP. Vanilla
3 1/2 C. Flour
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Baking Soda
2 C. Mini Chocolate Chips
1 Pkg. Double Stuffed Oreo's
Preheat oven to 350 degree's
Start by creaming the margarine, brown sugar, sugar
until light and fluffy. In a small bowl beat together
the eggs and the vanilla. Mix into the margarine and sugar mixture.
Next sift together the flour, salt, baking soda.
Add it to the mixture one cup at a time.
Fold in the chocolate chips last.
**Here is where I place it in the fridge to chill for a
couple of hours. However you DONT need to do this.
Place a heaping tablespoon of dough on the top
as well as the bottom of each Oreo cookie.
Press together to seal around the Oreo.
Place onto a lightly sprayed cookie sheet.
(I place 10 cookies on a sheet pan)
Bake for 13 minutes.
I turn the pan around in the oven half way through the bake time.
You can also see that I drizzled a small amount
of melted white chocolate over the top of each.
Have a double stuffed day!
