just doesn't cut it anymore.
As with most quick bread recipes, just mix all these ingredients together and blend until smooth. Do NOT over beat.
2/3 C. Butter or Margarine
1 1/3 C. Sugar
2 Eggs; beaten
1 1/2 C. Mashed Ripe Banana's
2 1/4 C. Flour
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 c. Sour Cream
1/2 C. Nut's *optional*
1 C. Chocolate Chips
1 tsp. Vanilla
Preheat oven to 350
Pour into a lightly sprayed and parchment lined loaf pan.
Bake for 1 hour.
*This is very freezer friendly bread*

Lark - I am always SO tickled when I see you've made something I like making...and now you've gone and done that again. =) I have made banana choc chip bread for years. A while back my daughter gave me a sour cream banana bread recipe that has become very popular. I just made it for a recent bake sale. And now I see you have combined the two recipes. We are definitely Sisters Chick! YUUUUMMMMM!!!
Looks like a winner to me. You're combining chocolate and bananas with go so well together, and adding sour cream for extra moistness. Very nice.

OHHHH! This looks so good! I've been spying a banana choc chip loaf cake at Starbucks for a week now and here you've gone and made it! That's a sign, I'll have to make this one for sure. Thanks for the push!
