My first 3-Day for the Cure fundraiser!

As many of you know I am trying to fund raise the required amount of $2300.00 in order to participate in the Arizona 2011
Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure.

Well on the 4th of July I held my 1st fundraiser. We have a local  community celebration, held in the park. Where there are games for the Kids, food booth's, BBQ Dinner, Water Slide, Parade and Fireworks that night. It is a great "home town" event. This year I had a "PINK" booth. Where I sold Pink Ribbon Sugar Cookies, Water bottles with Pink Ribbon labels and Pink Cotton Candy.
Before I go any further I have (2) Special THANK YOU shout outs!

The first one goes out to my husband Matt. Not only does he support me with any & all charity work I do, he was the "Cotton Candy Man"....and let me tell you, that is a STICKY job. He made cotton candy all day long.
Thank you Honey!
This next Thank you goes out to a very special friend, I have had the honor of getting to know!
Trisha from Sweetology The minute I asked for help on Face Book in finding a place for me to order some Pink Water Bottle Labels, Trisha commented back that she had it covered! And did she ever! She ordered, bought and donated 300 water proof labels.
THANK YOU BOTH FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!!
Here are some pictures of the booth, cookies and water bottle labels.

This 1st fund raiser was a HUGE success. A total on $498.00
was  donated to the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Foundation.

What a great start, Thank you all!
