Fresh Homemade Salsa

I LOVE Fresh Salsa!
Nothing better than making it yourself.
AND SO,SO EASY too!
What makes this Salsa amazing
is the use of Fresh Home Grown
Garden Tomato's!
However in the "off" season, you can use
the tomato's in the store...that way you will be
THRILLED to start your garden come Spring.

Fresh Homemade Salsa
6 Fresh Tomato's~ chopped
2 Cloves of Garlic
1/2 C. Chopped Cilantro
1 Lg. Jalapeno~diced
1 Med. White Onion~diced
1(4oz.) Diced Green Chili's
1/2 tsp. Garlic salt
1/2 tsp. Pepper
3-4 TBSP. Lemon Juice

Place all ingredients into a
food processor, pulse to your
desired consistency.
*I like to add one more fresh chopped
tomato to the salsa just before serving*
Make some tonight!

This looks like a great recipe, Lark! I try to can some Salsa in the summer when I can use fresh tomatoes. Then we can enjoy it all year long!

Carla, It does can well...although if you like it "hot" add in more jalapeno before canning. For some reason after I have canned it~ it lost some of it's "heat".
